an educational resource based on National Public Radio’s award-winning radio program, Talk of the Nation: Science Friday, hosted each Friday afternoon by veteran science journalist and author, Ira Flatow

science standards are selected from a national list developed by McREL, the Mid-continent Research for Education and Learning in Denver, Colorado. McREL is a nationally recognized, private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to make a difference in the quality of education for all through applied research, product development, and service.
